Barcelona, 29th June 2023 - OneMind Technologies consolidates its partnership with Globe to implement its hypervisor platform the IoT OneMindNG in different Smart Cities projects in Chile and Latin America.
More and more cities in the Latin American market are betting on improving the quality of life, through technology, to make them a safer, sustainable and livable space for citizens.
The implementation of IoT in smart cities requires the integration of information from different services. This is the only way to make efficient decisions that take citizens into account.
With the aim of supporting this new scenario, OneMind Technologies began working with the Chilean company Globe last October, an alliance that is consolidating and beginning to bear fruit.
Globe, with more than 20 years in the market, is a technology integration and value-added services company with presence in the main economic sectors of Chile and Latin America. It designs, develops and implements integrated systems with cutting-edge technology, including Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and IoT solutions for Smart Cities.

Rubén Fernández, Head of Sales of OneMind Technologies for Latam, has consolidated this agreement with Globe, to support projects with its OneMindNG IoT hypervisor platform in Chile and the rest of Latin America.
With the implementation of the OneMindNG platform, cities are able to centralize and manage a single interface that encompasses multiple IoT devices and sensors such as air quality, temperature, humidity and atmospheric pressure; noise sensors, traffic status, smart traffic lights, public parking, GPS positioning of buses, variable street messaging panels; positioning of municipal waste collection and recycling vehicles; smart street lighting systems, CCTV systems, number plate recognition (LPR) points and even security incidents reported by municipal 911.
Both companies have an ambitious goal, through their technology and experience in implementing smart city projects. Thank to their partnership, they have begun to accompany the digitization of cities in the old continent, helping to improve the understanding of city behavior; resolving mobility, security, or maintenance issues in advance; enabling a repository of structured data from which they can create reports and analysis, such as the detection of patterns, anomalies or correlations between disparate variables and domains; and finally, to have a unique tool for accountability to citizens.
